Message I have a '90 TT stage 3 owned for 12 years. I have researched the technical forum on this problem. There are various solutions dating back as far as the late 90's to mid 2000. Has there been any updates since then? The problem I'm having is after driving 30 minutes or so the clutch pedal readjusted itself and starts slipping. When cooled down it works normally. Have replaced clutch, pressure plate 5k ago, master cylinder 8k ago and slave cylinder last summer and bled it.It worked fine all summer but started to noticed the clutch release point starting doing wierd things, I Put it in garage for the winter. I read thing about a large bore master cylinder which the forum had mentioned? Or is the secret in clutch pedal adjustment under the dash. I have also read about disconnecting the vaccuum assist.
I'm uncertain where this is at and how to disconnect it. Is this problem a factory defect? This car is not frequently driven or driven hard. I did not have this problem last summer. When taken out of storage this year, the problem started immediately. I am extremely frustrated dealing with this problem. Can anybody help me with this. Is there anything in the technical forum that I missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Blee in nw Arkansas
